The Truffle is an underground mushroom of the genus Tuber and belonging to the Tuberaceae family. It is born and lives underground and develops near the roots of some species of forest plants and shrubs, in particular oaks, holm oaks, poplars, lime trees, willows and hornbeams, with which it establishes a symbiotic relationship called mycorrhiza which is expressed in the nourishment that the truffle draws from them, subtracting water and mineral salts. The nose is formed by an external bark called peridium, which can be smooth or wrinkled and an internal fleshy mass called gleba, which can be of various colors (white, pink, brown, black) and which highlights the veins that delimit the alveoli in which are found the ascus, large cell clusters containing the spores. The different types of truffles are identified by the characteristics of peridium, gleba, ascus, spores, dimensions and organoleptic notes. Since ancient times the truffle has been considered a precious and mysterious food, and is found very often mentioned in various writings: in the first century AD the belief spread that truffles originated from the combination of water, fire and lightning thrown by the god Zeus / Jupiter, and from this the poet Juvenal drew inspiration to affirm that the truffle had aphrodisiac properties since the god was known for his amatory activity, and so it was that the precious tuber was dedicated to Aphrodite, goddess of love.

Acciughe dal 1984. 

Pujadó Solano risale a quando Milagros Solano, giovane nativa della città cantabrica di Santoña, patria dell'acciuga, proveniente da una famiglia marinara con esperienza nella salatura delle acciughe, ha deciso, con il suo spirito imprenditoriale e il sostegno incondizionato del marito Alfons Pujadó, di creare l'azienda a Barcellona nel 1984. Non ci volle molto perché il suo sogno fiorisse e diventasse realtà.

Il segreto del successo dell'azienda si basa sul fermo impegno per la qualità, per i migliori ingredienti e per l'esperienza artigianale. Il risultato è un sapore e una consistenza unici che distinguono i suoi prodotti.
